I’m Femke. Nice to meet you.

I do loads of stuff, like crocheting and studying and this thing called living — but that’s really only sometimes — and I spend way, way too much time on the web.

But I also travel. I tend to do that a lot. I have family everywhere and sometimes, I have the means to go visit them. I have a University at which I spend the majority of my days in Lexington, Kentucky and I have a home sweet home in Arizona. My extended family lives in strange places like Qatar and the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and I don’t see them as much as I’d like to but slowly and surely I’m changing that.

I’m working on my skill as a writer right now. I see it as a way to expand the possibilities of future events. Sure, right now I’m studying chemistry. But what if that doesn’t work out? What if I slack and flunk out of school (impossible!) or what if I just am not interested in those opportunities that are generated by this near whim of mine? My goal is to one day be able to create content that is reader-friendly and attractive to a broad, well-educated audience. I realize that my mind is sometimes in disharmony with others’, but it may allow me to create just that right kind of awkward to really stand out and interest people. It’s easier done in art than in short blog posts, but I’ll figure it out.
